CASE STUDY: SOUTHERN REGIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS
The Challenge
Southern Regional Model United Nations is a non-profit organization that puts on a mock UN conference twice a year for colleges around the South. The challenge with their conference program, is that it serves many purposes: delegate resource guide, location map, conference schedule, and lots of pertinent information. However, they are on a tight budget.
The Solution
Since 2014, I create compact layouts that convey a lot of information while still being easy to read. I add something new every conference, but to keep costs low, reuse layout templates I have created over the years. This helps SRMUN stay within their budget. I have also created some supporting marketing materials such as e-mail newsletter templates, event logo, t-shirts, and other graphics.
Ethan is a dream to work with. He always makes us feel like we are his top priority and we get the work back promptly! The Venture Out Project was struggling with design and marketing as we tried making posters and flyers in Microsoft Word. Thankfully, we found Ethan, which solved all of our problems. I gave him my ideas and what he sent me back was what I wanted and more! Our participants love our colorful 80’s style flyers and at this point, we would not work with anyone else! We’ve already passed Ethan’s name to several other organizations because they love his work too.
